At what centres should guttering be installed?
Guttering should be installed with 900mm centres. If heavy winds or snowloading are expected, centres should be reduced to 600mm.
Can rainwater systems be solvent welded?
Rainwater goods are made from uPVC so it is possible to solvent weld it. However, it is designed to be push-fit and there is no requirement for solvent cement.
