These stunning Grade II listed buildings, made famous by the Harry Potter films as the dramatic backdrop for Hogwarts, were transformed into a multi-million-pound apartment development.

Part of the challenge was finding a functional heating solution that also complemented the interior design and layout of the properties. Being completely out of sight, Polypipe Underfloor Heating was installed eliminating the need for radiators on walls and providing the ultimate freedom to blend contemporary design with original features.

Instead of excavating the extensive original flooring, over £1m of our unique Overlay^TM system was laid over the existing floor, saving significant time and keeping overall project costs down. What’s more, it added value to the development as an energy-efficient modern heating solution that costs less to run.
